The Department of Surgery is welcoming new sets of procedures to our different consultants. Just this January 16, 2008 the first Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding was done by the team of Dr. Hildegardes C. Dineros, a visiting consultant staff in our Department show his skills and technique in doing the procedure. The operation lasted for about 1 1/2 hour and the patient was discharge the following day after the operation.
